Research Studies On Monkeys Raise Hopes For Promising Results In HIV Vaccine


The whole world is waiting for the vaccine to treat life threatening diseases HIV. The researched drugs will be experimented on the animals to test the safety and efficiency of the drug before they are passed to human trials. The new vaccine to treat HIV showed promising results when experimented on the monkeys.  According to the reports stated in the online journal, the research studies conducted by the Harvard Medical School reports that monkeys that received an active drug were less likely get infected from the virus exposed when compared to the monkeys that received placebo. 

The positive results of the research raised hopes for entry of HIV vaccine into the new world. The upcoming of HIV vaccine reached little bit closer as the research produced significant information about the ingredients of the vaccine that will benefit humans. The data from the research trials is quite helpful in conducting the clinical trial and it brings in hope to positive results in HIV vaccine.
